One of the only places that serves mall teriyaki chicken right. You can get in get your food and get out quickly. Just wish it wasn't in the mall..Vegetarian options: Getting rice and vegetables with a great grilled/flat top taste.Wheelchair accessibility: Ease of getting into the food court, as well as finding a spot to eat is great. Lots of ramps. View all feedback.
What Bryan Betzinger doesn't like about Sarku Japan:
First off I really like the food, very good. BUT! They advertise they are open until 6, but they are always closed early. Been there at 5:30 and have been refused service and they say they are closed. They need to brush up on this in my opinion. View all feedback.

Saturday at 510pm. Dinner time. On 2.10.2024. I always stopped at Sarku Japan in Oakview mall. WAS a lifetime fan of Sarku until today. I wish i had taken a pic to show you how sparse the burnt chicken, non- existent my cabbage was, and the seriously one sliver of broccoli served. My wife asked what smelled burning when I got in the car. Little did I know. It was my dinner. Cutting costs will close you for good! ? Won't be back. #YUK.

This is one of my go-to mall chain restaurants. The food is ok, and you're guaranteed to get it hot and fresh because it's cooked on a grill right in front of you. From coast to coast, Sarku remains consistent. The teriyaki sauce could use more flavor. It seems to be a bit watered-down, but just ask for 2 scoops. Portion sizes have gotten smaller, and prices went up, but that's happening everywhere, so im not surprised. All in all, I give it an O.K. rating.
