What Alayna Christensen doesn't like about Oj's Cafe:
Menu very small. Salsa so hot I was sweating and there is no mild option. Got the meat nachos which looked a little sad. Barely any cheese, so I am not sure I woukd really call them nachos at all.I am sure that there is a local cult following for this location for the right type of people, but I guess I am just not one of them. I have to pick up an enchilada at least once a month they're so tasty
Surprisingly very disappointing all around. Walked in 30min after they opened and restaurant was so quiet we thought they were closed. Few tables in the place were whispering cause it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Ordered tortilla soup $5.95 was chicken stock (tasted like bouillon cubes) with mushy tortilla chips soaking in it and low grade cheddar cheese on top. Nothing actually in the soup except what was just listed. Small menu with same ingredients repeated over and over (and was out of things) entrees were not visually or tastefully appealing. 2ppl spent $45 and waitress had to throw away about 50% of our food cause we just didn’t want to eat anymore. Receipt comes as hand written on a piece of paper (had to use my phone for an actual total) and after 10min of waiting for server so we could pay, I realized you have to walk up to the register to pay. Not worth the experience.
Love OJ great burritos and fresh flour tortillas chips in town
