The South of the Border burrito was great. The flavor of the nachos was good, but they were rather soggy from the start, which seemed to be due to the beans rather than the queso. The kids pancakes off the kids menu were good, but apparently they don’t come with bacon if you’re ordering them at lunch time? Contrary to what I saw on the menu, you’d have to add the bacon for an extra cost. The waitress was nice, and we... View all feedback.
What kelly o'mara doesn't like about Lula B's Breakfast, Brunch, And:
We had 4 poached eggs between us and all the yolks were solid. Food was slightly cold and english muffin barely toasted. My husband's hashbrown were crispy and brown, mine were gray. They had just opened, so maybe the cook needed more coffee?Everything else was pleasant quick friendly service. View all feedback.
Brunch was very good. I had the chorizo omelette with spicy guacamole and really enjoyed it. The Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

I came in with a friend around 1pm on a Sunday and the place was fairly empty. We sat up at the bar and ordered a couple of cocktails along with Chicken Strips and Fries. The cocktails were boozy and very tasty. The chicken strips were perfection, but the fries were undercooked and soggy, so we sent them back. The replacement order of fries was half the size of the original and burnt some to the point of being inedible. There is a midway point between being undercooked and overcooked, but either the cook doesn't know this or was miffed at having to throw another batch in the fryer. Our bartender/waitress noticed that my replacement fries were half the size of the original and asked if I wanted more, but asked it in a tone that suggested she was annoyed, so I declined. She then asked if I wanted another drink, which I did. My glass was still about 1/4 full, but instead of bringing me a new glass, she just topped off the one I had. Then, charged me the full price for a second one.Between the lousy service and inability to even prepare french fries properly, this will be both my first and last visit.
I loved Lula B's! The food was really good, but what made it stand out was the service! Our server was so great and they checked back multiple times to see what we needed, top off our coffee, etc. You don't always get attentive service nowadays, but Lula B's was wonderful.I ordered a create-your-own omelet and it came out just as ordered. It was really good! My friend had fun french toast which she said was delicious. We'll definitely be back!
One bread plate sized cold waffle with ?, , and chocolate chips with 2 strips of bacon for $20. Not enough to share if that's your thing....
