The meat platter features spiced stir-fried beef, chicken, and fried fish. The fish was wonderfully seasoned, slightly breaded, and cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. I also appreciated the vegetable sides that accompanied the meal, which included a chickpea stew and braised collard greens. The meal came with rice (not shown), which was a delightful pilaf. A quick tip: the building is long, and the restaurant's entrance is on Douglas St, not 25th St. Once you enter, you'll find a long hallway with eight suites, and this restaurant is located at the far end on the right. If the sign says "closed" but the suite door is open, the restaurant is indeed open for business. As for the decor, it's quite minimal. The overhead lighting in the dining area operates on a two-minute motion sensor, so if there are few customers, expect a cozy atmosphere with mood lighting. While the space is clean, it's fairly utilitarian. This place focuses on the food rather than the decor.
