Fish City Grill - Green Meadows

First time there, I heard it was good when they first arrived to Burleson. But my experience wasn 't tho. They sat us down at a badly uneven table just to move us five minutes later so they could update the specials board. That explains why the table was crooked, the server was standing on it. There was a party right next to us that was receiving their food at all different times because the server told them that there was only one kitchen personnel at the time. I felt bad for them, because it was a birthday party. I had the scallops with bacon wrapped shrimp, spinach and mashed potatoes. The shrimp was dry, bacon burned, scallops over cooked. My kid had ordered fried shrimp with steamed broccoli, the broccoli wasn 't cooked all the way thru and looked unwashed. I feel like the management staff should have let that party and other guests know up front what they should expect before hand. I would 've respected that much more. I hope corporate or the owners can step in and help out this location.

This is our favorite place in Burleson. Brilliantly prepared seafood, rotating fresh-catch specials, fantastic burgers, and the best bar (and bar staff) in town. You'll always feel at home at Fish City Grill.

I cannot rave enough about my experience at Fish City Grill. I have been here twice now and received service from Emily at the bar both times. Not only was the food incredibly tasty, but the service was absolutely UNMATCHED. After struggling to select an entree, our bartender asked me specific questions about what I like and ultimately recommended the seafood platter based off my answers. I was a bit hesitant because its a little pricey, but all I can say is OMG! Zero regrets and I will be ordering again. My husband had the fish and chips and was very satisfied with his entree as well. We had a slight problem with his entree, though Emily was quick to correct it with no issue. The alcoholic beverages were delicious as well. We ordered the Hurricane and Front Porch Lemonade, the service at the bar was incredibly friendly and pleasant. Every item we ordered (appetizer, entree, drinks, and desert) was rung in brought out super quickly. Emily checked in on us several times to make sure everything was good as well as a manager came out once.I will be recommending this place to my friends and family and suggesting bar service specifically. Came in a couple weeks ago with my mom and grandmother, had just moved to the area from Fort Worth. Found this gem hiding in plain sight.After 8 years in service before going into my career, service will make or break the experience. I honestly had a great time with my family here. Managers checked on us several times. Sat at the bar with Emily, ordered a few specialty drinks, the service went above expectations in all categories. Beginning to end service here 10/10 recommend if you like great service amazing seafood and actually want fresh and in season food. Tried the catfish, spicy shrimp, and a few other items on the menu they were all great, will definitely be back ti grab a table with friends here soon. Thanks again Emily and FCG!

My husband and I shared the seafood platter. We each had 3 shrimp, 3 oysters, 1/2 fish filet, fries, and coleslaw. More than enough food!The coleslaw was unique, but very tasty.Our server was great.The only downside to the whole experience was an incorrect ticket, which was quickly resolved.
