I found this little gem of a place by pure accident! I needed a drink, food and wifi - and it had all three!!The atmosphere was relaxed and easy. I was traveling alone and as such the waitress was really helpful and we got chatting about our trips abroad.I ordered the meal and when it arrived it was very fresh and unlike some of the other reviews was tasty and good value for money. There's free wifi there too which ha... Stayed at the motel during a road trip. Seafood platter is overpriced (70$ for (frozen fried seafood and overcooked crayfish. NOT worth your money But hey, fries were good. Owners are definitely not keen on being hospitable, rather making money more than anything else. I...DO NOT recommend View all feedback.
One of the best steaks I have eaten cooked exactly the way I like.My two companions both had fish and thoroughly enjoyed it.would highly recommend eating here
We stayed in Green Head caravan park for 2 nights (new owners are awesome!), 1st night got to the fish n chip shop right on closing, just for us the reopened and made us beautiful dinner. Our second night my partner booked us into the restaurant which looks lovely and fancy. The menu looks even nicer, HOWEVER:While holidaying in WA i wanted to try a local beer like swan or emu, nup. No local drinks at all. My parter had the penne pasta with avacado and sun dried tomatoes. No avacado and no sundried tomatoes - and it was cold!I ordered the reef n beef, Black Angus with 'super crisp' chips n salad.I got a cold skinny minute rump steak with cold soggy chips and a salad premade from coles. Even the Garlic bread entree was a TINY piece of squashed flavourless toast with no garlic at all. I would have taken a pic, but i didnt want to waste the space on my memory card! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!WILL NEVER GO BACK! What a waste of $80.
Spent a couple of days in greenhead recently and was pleasantly surprised to find this friendly and relaxed bar and restaurant. After a day's swimming and fishing it was great to stop in and enjoy a drink. The range of beers and wine was good and the prices reasonable. There is an outdoor covered area which was a good place to sit to catch the afternoon breeze. One night we stretched the afternoon drinks out and ended up staying for dinner. The menu has a pretty good range, bigger than expected for a small town restaurant/bar. We had the fish and chips and were really happy with it. Good size servings too. I will definitely be back next time I am in greenhead.
Camping up in green head so why not try the local places we thought. 21 in One go is a way to stretch any place...but we were very pleasantly surprised. We arrived to pre arranged seats outside...great spot for the kids ( just a little small, but still kept them amused)... Well stocked bar and friendly service, we ordered just about every fish and steak sandwich on the menu...we were very happy vegimites...great evening ....recommend the du fish and the gourmet steak sandwich..( seperately of course)..and high praise to the young lad there who is helping out...was very friendly to us all....if in green head don't miss out., sometimes local really is best.
Had dinner with friends and family - the staff were lovely and very helpful. I ordered the seafood platter which was very nice.
