Ive had MANY fish fry's over the years, boy i can tell you what, the Watering Hole by far has the BEST fish fry HANDS DOWN! Many places that claim they have the best fish fry only taste like any other place...just simple batter, the Watering Hole on the other hand, taste so much different than the others, not to mention there home made tarter sauce and ranch was perfect! Nice room for drinks, but food is exstreamly average. Decent presentation, fast service, but empty on a Saturday night, not friendly staff, generic food that's bland. View all feedback.
Had our first water hole fish fry... It was really good. The Walleye Filet was huge, and my 10 year old son has swallowed everything
Food is always perfect and the bartenders are excellent.
It's a nice facility but as of late they cut half their menu, doubled their prices, sending bills to their loyal customers to play sports while across town none of that occurred. Something is up, it's sad cause it's been a place I'd been going to a long time. A beer is 4.50$ ... what gives? Hopefully it's temporary.
Baked Cod was delicious. Generous portion sized for sure. An order of cheese curds is enough to feed four people.
A great local place to support, they have events that create a community.
