Presentation of the plates were well done. Ordered the chicken Alfredo which was good. The sauce didn?t come from a jar. It?s a thicker sauce but very good. This is definitely not a fast food joint. I don?t mind the wait if the food is good. On that note,it was a little longer wait which knocked a star. The garlic knots rocked! What Daniel Rauens doesn't like about Josephines Pizza Pastaria:
We waited over two hours for our food, and during that time, we were informed three separate times that our order had been lost. While the staff remained gracious and friendly throughout, the wait was frustrating. We had heard that the food was good, but when our orders finally arrived, half of them were incorrect, and the dishes seemed rushed—some were undercooked, while others were overcooked. Ordered take out vegetable primavera. It was very small for the amount charged. My daughter and I thought it was a kids meal for $14,00. It did come with soup less than a cup. Was disappointing

Ask for the special, at least thisweek was a very great deal for takeout.
The pepperoni thin crust pizza was amazing! It was so delicious that I had to share my experience with others. You have to try it! You won't be disappointed.
It was disappointing because the food appeared like it had the potential to be excellent. Meanwhile, the ten tables that arrived before us received their meals promptly and seemed to enjoy their meals.
We might have visited on an off night, but our experience was quite disappointing. I usually don't focus on service in my ratings, as staff can vary, but we were seated as the third table and waited 20 minutes before anyone approached us. After another 15 minutes, we finally placed our order, and then it took yet another 20 minutes for our salads and mozzarella sticks to arrive. When the food did come, it was lukewarm. The meatballs were either overcooked or possibly reheated, and they even ended up mixed into the chicken Alfredo, which clearly tasted like it came from a jar. We requested some parmesan cheese, and the server said he would get it, but he returned empty-handed, didn’t say a word, and proceeded to clear another table loudly. He then stormed back to the kitchen, kicking the door open and almost hitting the hostess. We never received the parmesan and he never returned to check on us. During our time there, we noticed three other tables that came in but left after around 15 minutes without any service. Our bill came to $54 for two meals, an appetizer, and a soda. I can't say we are eager to return. We had been considering ordering pizza from this place, as I remember it being excellent years ago, but now I’m hesitant.
