Excellent food, drinks, and service. However, I was disappointed to discover that the restaurant was closing at 7:30 on weekdays in January upon arrival. I was not informed of this when booking my 6:30 p.m. reservation months in advance. When the decision was made to close at 7:30, it would have been nice to be notified of the change. Due to the early closure, it felt like we were rushed and not able to fully enjoy o... View all feedback.
What JeffB doesn't like about 1919 Kitchen Tap:
The Chicken Pot Pie lacked a bottom crust, only having a top crust that was thick and difficult to cut through, but the flavor was excellent. The burger was fantastic, as were the pretzel sticks and cheese. The market salad with peppercorn ranch dressing was also delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Blu Bobber beer from Fox River Brewing, it was very tasty. View all feedback.
We realize every place is short staffed and we extend grace for this very reason. Slow service does not always equal bad service typically during the current times we live in. However,at 1919 we got not only slow service but service without a smile, apology for the delay nor attentiveness to us. We made reservations for 2 on a Tuesday night for 7:15. We were seated immediately and waited for our server. There were three customers seated at the bar and maybe 6 tables with customers, most who appeared either finished with their meal or already had food and were eating. After 10 minutes a server came to bring the check for the table next to us and seemed surprised to see us. He finished attending to the other table and then came and took our drink order along with our food order. Our drinks arrived shortly afterwards. Our food was brought out by two other servers and was delicious. Beer cheese bisque (lukewarm but still very good), elk stroganoff and a huge cobb salad. We did not see our server again until we were finished eating. We each ordered another cocktail at that point and then waited for another 10 minutes before our drinks came. The restaurant closes at 8 and by this time it was 7:50. I feel like our server was annoyed we had ordered another cocktail. Overall the food was delicious but the service for a late Tuesday night when there was no event going on at Lambeau was awful.
Food is delicious! Menu has so many great offerings Atmosphere is casual and inviting It’s a family favorite hang out for us in Green Bay
This reservation did not know that it was in lambeau field while we drove through green bay. pleasantly surprised! the foods and drinks are both quite good and cheap. there is a lot of parking space, but it is a little tricky to navigate if they have never been there (what I do not.) quite impressed overall, and would recommend.
This was by far one of our favorite places for being first timers to Green Bay! Food was delicious, drinks were great! Very nice staff, we sat at the bar and Amanda was our bartender, she was very nice and such a hard worker to keep her customers happy! Thank you Amanda for great service. We will back for a future packers game.
Loved their flatbread! (The green gold is what is pictured) Great Service atmosphere as well.
