I came here for their abalone mud crab specials as they are currently having a special promotion. There are two sauce options ginger spring onion or chilli sauce. We picked the ginger spring onion and added the egg noodles. We also ordered the beef fillet mignon and stir fry vegetables with tofu. All the dishes were delicious, full of flavour. The staff cleaned up our messy plates after the crab abalone course and ma... View all feedback.
What Andrew doesn't like about Shark Fin Keysborough:
Food was good and the employees were nice, however the boss or manager I presume (50s Asian guy with glasses) was very rude to his staff. He was telling his employees off, and using his hand to perform a swat like motion at his employee. He was very rude to them. At the end when we were paying the bills he even said, 'do you want to leave a tip for a staff ', lol as if it would go them, more like straight to ya pocke... View all feedback.
I write this so angry, I'm getting finn keysborough for over 10 years for yumcha haien. after our visit on Sunday it is our last. no lot of dressed, so many foods lack in comparison to years ago hardly any food / oils turn the floor no longer worth for money rude waiting staff (that was always the case, but eating out it in the past) they have developed rewardingly, and we will have to look in future elsewhere, a common thema from other reviews that I see here
Well booked in advance for the first session. armed and space for 11 o'clock. managed to score a random platelet of sesam prawn immediately, then manager had to wait with workers for more. 100% capacity and people to turn away, and no food. we have almost robed $100 for 2 non-alcoholic drinks and 4 dish cold eating. was so good that I actually burst into drinking in the car. with melbourne finally free when our Covid-Hackles, I was so excited about a bauch full of yummy cba, but not today. I will return. in the dozens of times we had before us, was never a problem. but not eating? for lunch? in vain.
I know it's a very famous Yam-Cha restaurant in melbourne, but we were a little disappointed by the Dim crowd there. the damped castor was thicker what we expected, and makes the whole texture sticky. I don't like the pick ribs. next time I would prefer other canton restaurants for yum cha.
This Yumcha Square had many different types of directed, which went to our table. that was nice and I was happy with my meal.
Yum Cha at Shark Fin in a COVID-normal world means no trolleys being pushed around, but you can order the items you’d like Hong Kong style off their available list at the start of the meal. It makes sense from a safety/sanitisation perspective, but I do miss seeing the aunties pushing the trolleys around and selling their wares, it’s so entwined as part of the usual Yum Cha experience here in Melbourne The service was lovely and the wait-staff very attentive; but I can honestly say I’ve had better quality Yum Cha at other restaurants, but still helped to hit the spot after missing it for 5 months in lockdown.
