Was Oliver Ruppert at Cacutta Sweets a mag?
The best restaurant in Melbourne! I always enjoy their brunch menu, especially the Amritsari Kulche and Chole Bhature. The food has a great taste and is not overly rich or spicy like other restaurants. Follow me on Instagram for more reviews @honestollyreviews. View all feedback.

What Cara Welch dislikes about Cacutta Sweets:
I wanted to eat and that was good. it took awhile and the customer service was usual. it took 25 minutes to escape for 3 people. people who commanded me were given orders before mine. After 20 minutes I asked, is. it will take much longer and was simply said to wait for rude wise. will not come back. View all feedback.

The best lamb biryani I've ever had, and lovely fresh flavours in their curries. Other standouts are the channa bhature and eggplant curry. They will modify the chilli level at your request depending on the curry. I found that Medium was probably the right level of heat for me. Most dishes are about $9, and there's even a lunch special (curry and rice) for $7.50. There're lots of Indian sweets made on the premises (the rasmalai was yummy) and there're only perhaps 7 or 8 tables. We stocked up on some take-away to have for dinner later. The service is very friendly and the food is worth the 40 minute drive it took to get there.

Good for casual dining, not so great on sweets on the counter but food is really great. Highly recommeded if you are looking for North Indian food

My favorite place in Melbourne for high-quality Indian sweets and savory snacks. Just be prepared for long wait times when picking up your order.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious desserts and savory dishes. It is recommended to arrive early as items tend to sell out quickly, especially during Indian festivals. While the food is decent, it is best to avoid the tea and opt for the lassi instead.
