We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The steak and ale cake was delicious, with large, tender chunks of meat smothered in a rich and flavorful gravy. The staff was very friendly, and the selection of beer was excellent. We also enjoyed the separate room with a pool table and a jukebox playing great music. This is probably the best pub we have discovered in the area. View all feedback.
What webbie doesn't like about The Ferry Inn:
We were rather looking forward to visiting this pub, especially with it being an ‘Adnams’ . However on arrival there was absolutely no atmosphere and no customer service whatsoever. Very surprised that Adnams put their name to this pub! Definitely would not return. View all feedback.
Fantastic place thier gluten free options were great so much choice. Lovely well cooked food and a nice setting definitely be back
Situated beautifully by the canal. Felt friendly when entering and pleased it was a dog friendly Inn. Food was a little disappointing, with the pie crust half baked and the gravy in pie was very watery. Also kept being attacked by flies. Maybe restaurant could do with a clean/spruce up.
A very unfriendly, unwelcoming place. Although the food we had was good, the place was filthy and the loos were a disgrace. Makes you wonder what the kitchen is like. Wouldn’t go back.
Lovely lunchtime stop , next to the river , watching the world go by , peaceful setting, food and drink excellent
Only stopped for a drink whilst meandering down the river, but decided to order some food as it all looked so good on other tables. Despite them being busy, the food came out quickly and was delicious. It was great to watch the boats go by while we ate and enjoy the super weather.
