Barking Smack - Great Yarmouth

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was exceptional and the overall vibe of the restaurant was good. I would give it a 5-star rating across the board.

I recommend visiting this restaurant for its good quality food. It's nice to see it reopen, as we used to frequent it in the 80s and 90s. It's a great meeting place.

The food at Barking Smack is outstanding, with generous portions and reasonable prices. We loved our meals, the Gammon steak and half roast chicken, which were both huge and delicious. We will definitely be back for dinner next time we're in Great Yarmouth. Barking Smack is definitely deserving of its status as a top choice for travelers. We've already told our friends with caravans nearby to check it out.

Pub is situated on the front by the amusements. With a spacious beer garden at the front, along with plenty of space indoors. Drinks were a bit hit and miss.. nothing special but ok. Food on menu sounded great but was told most was not available.. order out food, nothing.. waited.. nothing.. nobody came to say it was on hold while the chef wasn't around.. ended up with a refund, after going in to ask what happened. Shame as nice looking pub.

Nicely run, plenty of attentive and friendly staff, good food and value. A table in the sun in the front garden is a bonus if available. Don’t underestimate… worth a visit.
