The night was just okay. The bartender was very rude if you were not a local to the area. The coke was always off and they only gave out diet. It made you feel very uncomfortable if you weren't a regular. She should consider a more natural look instead of wearing a face full of makeup and fake hair. View all feedback.

Very friendly pub. Good selection of wines, beer and spirits. All reasonably priced. Danced the night away.
We were looking for somewhere to eat when a passer by told us to try Allens bar. When we got to the front door we didn't know what to expect. I stuck my head inside the door and was pleasantly surprised by the homely pub atmosphere. The menu was good, it had all the favourites. The portions were huge and for what we got it was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was all homemade and fresh which is a nice surprise these days. On the whole I'm glad we listened to that passer by because we could have ended up paying a lot if money for microwave rubbish elsewhere!
Nice friendly atmosphere, food is great and well priced, helpful bar persons, very accommodating, happy to visit with the children anytime for lunch!
This bar is a good old bar nice pub to have a drink with nice people around , been here many times over the years
