We had some last minute change of plans and upon entering, Catherine was very welcoming and accommodating. We had a great experience and the food was very high quality and delicious. Would highly recommend!

I was visiting Houston for the first time and I checked out Strata Restaurant and Bar during their wine tasting event. I must have picked the right time to come because Frank's Family Wine Dinner just blew me away! When I first arrived at Strata, I immediately noticed the beautiful light ambience that helped set a relaxing atmosphere. The decor is very attractive and I was able to tell that even small details made a difference in the restaurant's captivating visuals. At the reception and dinner room, I was taken care of by the staff. They were very friendly, knowledgable and attentive. My favorite part of the evening included a presentation by representatives of the Frank Family Vineyards, followed by a delicious and brilliant six course dinner. You can tell this menu was meticulously designed and paired with its desired glass of wine. The pairing of the food really helped to bring out the aroma and tasting of the wine. The first course was escargot, the flavors were a beautiful blend of white wine butter with fresh herbs. I absolutely loved this dish especially because of its uniqueness. Second course was another mouth watering dish. After looking at the description in the menu I was ready to try it. Crepes are always a treat for me. The next two dishes included the bolder tasting wines. That's to go with savory steaks and lamb. Needless to say, they were tasty! The evening finished off with a very light yet beautiful dessert . The panna cota is a must try! Overall I had a fantastic time. I would give thumbs up to everything Strata had to offer. I can't wait until I can visit next time.

Very good! Service friendly but overbearing. Food was excellent as was the music on the patio. My wife said her Old Fashion was perfect.

Came for brunch was completely unimpressed. Wait staff was extremely nice. Service was quick, there where only three tables seated. Was told they were out of croissants. The bread brought to the table didn't seem fresh. The home style potatoes that came with my meal were out of a bag. The omelette we ordered was picked apart to only eat the veggies. But, the bathrooms smelled nice. If you gotta go I highly recommend the toilets.
