What Smith Family O likes about Big Dawg’s Family Kitchen:
Cute little place, clean, friendly staff. Freshly made food. It can take a bit but you can be assured that it will be fresh. Nice decor very homey. I ordered the Cajun pasta with shrimp. It smells wonderful and oh so yummy. The taste is wonderful, great presentation, lots of big chicken and sausage chunks in a creamy sauce with just the right kick to it. A must try. They are nice ppl but the food less terrible. Our cabbage was dry and our pork chops were overcooked. We ordered smothered pork chops and they fried the chops and poured gravy over them. Smothering consists of cooking the chops in gravy until tender. I've never had bad soul food in Houston. But this was a first and last visit. View all feedback.
