The Trigger Pond

As a family we have always enjoyed eating in the trigger pond, as it is close to home, eating was always good and the prices are appropriate. today's visit was the best we've ever seen. every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. we ordered 2 lamb shafts with chips that were cooked for perfection and the sose for dying. the children's roasts had a lot for fresh vegetables and truthahn with a beautiful engraving. my man had the cowboy burger and it was probably the best burger he had ever eaten. we also ordered puddings that were delicious, generous help from rocky street sons and chocolate orange sponge sooo gooood! the thing that made our meal very special was the personal! what an absolute wonderful team! so courteous, friendly and extremely hard work. the landdame carina was such a nice person and made sure that she turned every table and felt at home. the bar staff were so nice and helpful, especially lonely, who only worked there on their second day and impressed us as quickly as she had picked up everything and took the time to help us with our order. we were also so impressed by the 4 table controls we received. the whole staff was so real and felt something special and appreciated. we will definitely visit more often! many thanks.

Went to trigger pond Wednesday night for a meal, had the mixed grill eating and service was excellent karina and millie, where very welcoming and made our visit very pleasant

Nice friendly staff, good service and excellent selection of food.

Visited with a friend for a quick bite to eat on our way home. Gent behind the bar was great. Food not so much. I ordered the sirloin steak and asked for it medium-rare, my friend ordered the fish and chios. After a bit of a wait our food came. It looked nice enough but my steak wasn't seasoned and was more medium-well, onion rings were soggy and the chips were very pale, like they were barely cooked. We were starving so didn't want to send it back and have to wait again. It's definitely put us off visiting again.
