Delicious food , great service, been waiting for the tripletas to be back. I haven’t found authentic puertorican food near by until I found el coqui. Definitely would’ve love for them to be opened more often i wish they would have a restaurant with the food and type of service it would be a great spot. Definitely recommend. We came here for lunch, wonderful atmosphere, the entrees were hearty and absolutely delicious, full of flavor. Everything was great, I paid the $32 bill and left a $7 tip (total $39). The waitress asked if I wanted a copy of the receipt, and I said no. I wish I said yes. She charged my card an extra $10 which I noticed on my credit card statement two days later. Interesting menu with lots of plantains on nearly every dish. Marguerita and the food were very good, and service responsive.

Great food and very friendly people. The garlic chicken meal and chicken on criolla are fantastic!
