This was my first time having breakfast at The Blue Egg, although I've been there many times for lunch. The Full English breakfast for £7.95 includes all the usual items, and if you’re not a fan of black pudding like I am, they’ll happily substitute it with bacon or whatever else they can come up with. Excellent. If you are gluten free then it's wonderful. You have choices including sandwiches, even backed beans on toast. A choice of cakes. Can't think of too many places where you get to choose rather taking what you can have. Also excellent for the non GF.
We had a lovely lunch here yesterday. Home cooked food, very tasty and nicely presented in a clean and friendly environment. We had quiche of the day with a green salad, which was really enjoyable
Only place to stop for food on a ride. Breakfasts and cakes are fantastic.
