I found this little gem 2 minutes from the main square. Very typically Spanish without the trapping of some of the more touristy places. In fact while I was there I was the only none Spanish customer. I ordered a traditional Lamb Stew, Caldereta Cordero. Huge pieces of melt in the mouth lamb cooked in a rich gravy served with chips. Every piece of meat was beautifully tender with hardly any fat. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're a fan of good, honest, traditional Spanish cuisine.
The food was average but the service was abysmal, the worst I have ever had in twenty years in Spain. I can't believe the attitude of the waiter and the bar staff. 1 star is too good should be zero!
We arrived in Grazalema on a cold, rainy day in early November and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Small but cozy bar-restaurant (Bar Zulema, I think it's right in front of this address). Very friendly service and speed when it comes to getting our dishes out. We chose the menu of the day and ate the typical local dishes recommended by the waiter, and the truth is that the quality was noticeable. Highly recommended without a doubt.
