What User dislikes about Something's Brewing:
I recommend steering clear of this location and instead heading to some Brewing in downtown Grayslake. I've had issues two times now—first with lunch and now with breakfast—where my order was incorrect. View all feedback.
The wait was excessively long, over 30 minutes. However, they made up for it with their delicious drinks while we waited. This was my first time there, and I found it to be overrated. That said, the salad was fantastic! The labretti was a generous portion and had great flavor—definitely worth trying! Thanks to the Something’s Brewing team for a nice lunch!
On the flip side, I wasn't greeted by the staff or offered assistance until I asked for help myself. While it wasn’t a huge issue, it did affect my overall impression of the place. Additionally, the two girls on staff were chatting among themselves while working, which some might consider unprofessional, though it didn't bother me too much. The atmosphere was cozy and a bit cluttered, but that added to the overall vibe. I do think more seating would be beneficial, and I also wish the menu layout was simpler, as it felt a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this place if you're in the area!
Wow, this place is amazing! Good coffee, baked items, sandwiches and pizzas. Cosy for family. Loved it!!!
Great spot for any morning : Highly recommended!
I bought a Harvest Spice Muffin, which is usually my favorite, but I was really disappointed this time. The muffin was very dry and tasted stale. I couldn't even finish it and ended up having to throw it away. It was over $5, which felt like a waste.
