After having one of their beefs for the first time, I couldn 't put it down. The beef was perfectly cooked and the peppers were incredible. The fries were crispy and hot yet soft on the inside and salted to that perfect place between too little and too much. After enjoying my meal I went to ask the owner about his food and his story. It was overwhelmingly clear that this was a man who was passionate about his craft. After I asked Sal why he does what he does he replied, I 'm here to be the king of beefs! As a local of 19 years this place has quickly become a staple. I 've had beefs from everything from large chains and small restaurants and unless you are going to travel to Chicago (where Sal got started), you will not find a better beef. Even then, you would be hard pressed to do so. Great local business with a passionate leader. I can 't say enough.
