I absolutely love this place! The staff is always friendly and patient. My mother and I often meet here for lunch, and they are always so courteous. We’ve tried various items from the menu, including their burgers, roasts, and loaded fries, and everything has been fresh and delicious. It’s a great pub, and I can’t wait to visit again! What User doesn't like about The Ship:
Gutted was told how great the Sunday Roast was by a Friend, not on our visit. 55 mins from point of order to roast being served no starters, veg was cold and under cooked and half was forgotten to be plated and then sent out 5 mins later in a bowl. View all feedback.
Nizza pub, good food, decent number of parking places as well as disabled booked, and the outside is quite large, and a good selection of entertainment like music bingo, karaoke and quiz night
Went to the ship with a few friends,we had a table booked,when we arrived the lady showed us to our table and left us to meet our friends,we were asked if we were ready to order our meal,and when we said we hadn't made up our minds she said to let her no when we were ready,we went to the bar and got some drinks and ordered our meal at the same time,the meal was brought to the table and our server was really polite and friendly, asked if we needed anything a few times,the meal was really nice, and everything was hot,thank you, a few of us had afters also very nice,was quite in there but nice,would recommend the food,and staff were lovely too x thankyou

The food was really good and is now our place to go as a family. The staff were warm welcoming with an open eating area. Well worth a visit or 2
Had a great night with a group of friends. the service was friendly and welcoming. our waitress was inexperienced, but very pleasant and friendly and made a great job. eating was a good value for money and delicious. we had the feeling that we were easily rushed to order the food, and the service was safe fast between the curses we had to ask for some time after the main course. our table was very close to others who was a little strange when there was a lot of space in the direction of the back of the restaurants where more tables were spread that would have been quieter and easier for talks. a great night and we go back there definitiw.
