However, when... read more Yesterday, we went to Cassar's to celebrate my son's birthday. We always choose this place because we enjoy the food, the service, and the staff. However, when the food arrived, we were quite surprised. We received a thinly sliced piece of pork and a small bowl of carrots for £15, which seemed a bit lacking. I mentioned to the waitress that the meal looked rather disappointing on the plate, and she kindly informed the chef about my concerns.

The staff, also Italian, are very good and attentive to the customer. We ate arancini with truffles which were wonderful and took pizza with sausage and broccoli really excellent. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. If you want to find a piece of Italy for quality products and hospitality in Gravesend, this is the right place. 5 stars is still not much, but it's the best I can give....
