What Kay C dislikes about Caesars:
I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I have dined here in the past, but this time was a complete disaster. The service was incredibly slow - we spent 2.5 hours there and only received our main course. The bread and olives, priced at £3.50, were lackluster - olives from a jar and two minuscule slices of ciabatta. The vinegar tasted old and stale. I ordered the ravioli for £19 and was shocked to receive on... View all feedback.

Visited with 6 friends, very warm welcome from excellent staff and great atmosphere. Food was delicious, all pasta and gnocchi cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend and will return.
Sadly, in a half empty restaurant, we were only offered a table by the door on a cold night. We noticed there were only two further reservations listed but apparently no other table was available. The lacklustre welcome and the chilly reception made us leave.
Spaghetti B was over cooked, cold and lacked flavour. No apology was given, nothing taken off the bill. Staff unresponsive. Won't be returning.
We often go here when visiting family in Gravesend. It always promises great food! We tried a mortadella pizza on the last visit which was delicious! Usually we see the same waiter who's exceptionally friendly. Listen to his recommendations ;
Nestled in a charming locale, this restaurant has garnered attention for its delightful ambiance and varied culinary offerings. While some patrons rave about the exquisite dishes—like the heavenly truffle pizza and succulent pork tomahawk—others express disappointment over service delays and cold meals. The atmosphere often shines, with many guests appreciating the warm welcomes and attentive staff. However, inconsistent experiences, such as inadequate seating options and overlooked reservations, can mar the visit for some. Overall, while many diners leave satisfied and eager to return, others caution potential visitors to temper expectations.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, great service and incredibly polite staff. Eating is always fast and from an exceptionally good standard. nothing is always too much for the personal and they are so helpful. highly recommended
I seldom take the time to write restaurant reviews but I am simply amazed by the friendly atmosphere, exceptional food and attention to detail shown by Gino and his team at Julius Caesar. At Christmas they looked after my lively work Christmas Party without any fuss and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a brilliant night. I have since returned on many occasions and I am proud to bring colleagues and friends down from London to dine here. Everyone that I have taken here has been complimentary about the freshness and quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. You won't be disappointed!
Food was delicious! We had the fillet steak, with mushrooms chianti sauce, and the lamb cutlets... they were cooked to perfection! Our lovely waiter is from the same town in Sicily as my Nan, and he always asks how my mum and Nan are. Lovely people and brilliant restaurant X
The food was exceptionally good and delicious. Even though we were the only ones at first, we later noticed other couples and a group arriving. The waiter was very helpful and attentive. We will definitely go back!

Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5
I can honestly say I cant wait to go back again. One its stunning design and has joyful atmosphere. The price is bang on good value but wow the food was top notch authentic Italian. But the staff were just super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t of asked for more. I had a spaghetti dish and it was just perfect, al dente but on the softer side. The sauce was so creamy and silky and so well flavoured. The chicken was perfect and the flavour punch was amazing. The chrizo wasnt like any other I have had it was just so gorgeous. I had to treat myself to a desert, great choices but the tiramisu took my fancy as it always seems to. It was heaven on a slate, so fluffy, so fresh and so creamy. It was beyond what I have had in england of an Italian, it is up there with the best I have tried. In totally I had a main, desert and 1 pint and a bottle of peroini. Sub £30. Bellissimo, until next time
Came with here with friends , the food was really good and the staff were very nice. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My colleague and I went there last night. The owners are two very nice and helpful Italian brothers, they really made us feel like we were at home. The staff, also Italian, are very good and attentive to the customer. We ate arancini with truffles which were wonderful and took pizza with sausage and broccoli really excellent. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. If you want to find a piece of Italy for quality products and hospitality in Gravesend, this is the right place. 5 stars is still not much, but it's the best I can give....
