What Ben Mason doesn't like about The Six Bells:
Tables were very sticky, and decor is a bit tired. Friendly bar staff, who were very accommodating, for us. No food on Sundays. Wheelchair accessibility: It's an old pub so doors are only just wide enough for a standard chair. Best access is via a side gate, which the bar staff were happy to open. Not clearly indicated though. Between us we made it work! Price per person: £1–10 View all feedback.
First time having roast dinner in this pub was so lovely. Had choice of beef or gammon or bit of both. Had both and was plenty on the plate with homemade roast potatoes and very large Yorkshire. Then came out large dish of vegetables and gravy. Couldn't ask for more thoroughly enjoyed the meal, will be returning with other family members and friends.
Lovely back garden with play climbing frames for kids. The main bar inside is nice, and the bar staff are very friendly. However I've knocked a star off for the sketchy side bar, which is usually full of fellas enjoying a raucous after work pint (not an issue unless you're sensitive to foul language etc), when they're not in the car park smoking skunk.
Bar staff are great. Quiet little pub. Food could of been warm and that would have earned another star.
Fantastic pub. Great drinks at good prices. Bar staff very friendly. Lovely environment
Lovely local pub with a large beer garden and children's play area. Friendly staff and excellent service. One of our favourite pubs to visit in Gravesend. Does a wicked karaoke and pub quiz too.
