We took the fish menu. The starter was nothing special. The main menu was a defrozen fish in a plumb of industrial sauce. The fish and the sauce had no taste. Also the vegatables. The dessert was good. A very poor quality for a fish restaurant in the port af Gravelines. View all feedback.
It's always a strange experience to have a whole restaurant to yourself, so I do wonder if the disappointment given some of the other great reviews was because they were out of season? Though that's no excuse for mediocre food, of course. The menu was small and perhaps that should have been our warning (though from the signs outside it didn't seem to have changed much for some time). I had the marmite de poisson which was generous I couldn't get anywhere near finishing it but it was terribly salty, and my wife had the englefin (haddock) which was ok, but came with both rice and potato, which was a bit strange. The server was pleasant enough but seemed just a little disinterested not surprising when there was so little to do and could have been a little more attentive.
Warm and attentive welcome. extensive choice of meals from the most basical mussels to the more sophisticated fish or paella or zarzuela. Good quality.
Good welcome, very good cocktails accompanied by mouths that put us in appetite for the rest of the meal and made us wait until the entrances and dishes, succulent dishes with these fresh products that deserve this little waiting.. A pleasure! Personally, I tasted all the sauces, creole, Indian, lobster bisque. We all recommend this restaurant and we hope to return it very well for a detail that does not have it for us, we validate the access Pmr and the toilet thanks to you
Excellent ! A revoir
