Angel the chef loves his food, wine and the region that produces his raw materials. His enthusiasm is clear in his conversation and obvious on the plate. We have loved everything he has put before us.

The cannelloni with duck foie gra... read more The menu was going through change so not necessarily sure we saw the best of it and they did explain they had lost their chef. The cannelloni with duck foie gras was pleasant although lacking in the richness of the foie gras but the addition of charred leek strips complemented it. The fillet steak was strangely cooked with a light coloured outside, no evidence of charring or searing, properly rare but unusual and came accompanied by decently cooked chard. The chocolate mousse was good. Overall an enjoyable meal but nothing exceptional and a little quirky in places.
