L'Oustal des vins - Grasse

Tip Top Tasty, Friendly, good value, warmly recommended if you want to escape from Tourist trap We will come back next time we are back South of France

Ten years have passed since we lived in Grasse and a lot has changed. So pleased to find L'Oustal des Vins which is a fantastic addition to life in Grasse. Loved the wines which were in superb condition and served in sparkling glasses. We also liked the convivial atmosphere and warm welcome. We cannot wait to try the tapas.

We came on this great spot after walking out of a tourist trap up the street. Its an independent wine "cave" in a great old street-level cellar; caringly looked after by its proprietor. At lunch he offers a range of Ardois specialities - charcuterie, fromages, a couple of cooked options, a range of salads, and some specially chosen wine options. Everything is selected for quality and well presented - served promptly but you can truly relax and enjoy it. This would be our "find" for lunch during our time in the South of France.

Sit in a wine cave and eat and drink like a king and queen. Bernard runs the place and he took great care to ensure our experience was worth coming back to, and we did. This small, elegant house of wine provided us with hours of relaxation that will be remembered forever.

We were searching for a restaurant in Grasse and found this place by main street in the old town. Pleasant wine tasting room with good food (cheese, salads etc). Delicious wines mainly from Languedoc-Roussillon region. Recommended!
