What User doesn't like about South Pine Cafe Grass Valley:
A friend recommended South Pine Cafe and I really wanted to like this place. The wait to be seated was about 15 minutes (not bad), but once we ordered our food took another 50 minutes (way too long for me). The wait staff was not very friendly, as we had to ask about our food after 40 minutes. I ordered huevos rancheros, it was okay. I would say the breakfast was average. View all feedback. The place is loud when crowded but the food is fabulous. Love their Huevos Rancheros the best. Delicious.
Delicious crafted homemade flavors. Very impressive menu everything went great. My chorizo tacos were fabulous.
Get the chorizo benedict and one of their special mimosas or the always awesome ollalaberry mimosa

read moreNestled in Grass Valley, South Pine Cafe captivates diners with its delicious and often inventive breakfast offerings. While patrons rave about standout dishes like the Lobster Benedict and the unique pumpkin cake French toast, they frequently note slow service and long wait times. Occasional communication gaps among staff can leave guests frustrated, as evidenced by struggles with seating and check processing. Despite these shortcomings, many visitors commend the quality of the food, making it a popular choice for breakfast enthusiasts—just be sure to arrive early to avoid the rush!.
