My wife and I were in Grass Valley Courtyard Suites on Sunday to Wednesday in April 2022. When I approached the lobby, I saw a cat sitting in the middle of the lobby staring at me. I'm extremely allergic to cats. Ten percent of Americans are allergic to cats. My wife closed the check-in because I didn't want to get sick. We were first assigned a room next to the lobby. I asked for another room because I didn't want to get sick. We had a charge because it was a better room, further out of the lobby. I asked the employees if the cat was always in the lobby and asked if she went to the breakfast area. She said it was coming and going, and she really didn't know. She said, "We are pet friendly, so we have our animal ambassador in the lobby. "I explained to her that this is not a common understanding of "pet kind". She's shroff. I have not seen a point in further discussions on cat policy at local level. I avoided the lobby, but every time I came through to get the breakfast, the cat was in the lobby, mostly on the couch. All the nice things people say in their reviews are true, but it doesn't matter if you are 1 out of 10 people who get sick around cats.

That was my second time I held a meeting for our group in this place. Mandy was amazing! She's really hotelier. On several occasions she went beyond and beyond to ensure that my group was supervised. I randomly did not order a meal for one of our participants and she was quick to help me pick up the order itself. This is a fantastic location to host a group.

Perfect. no mask no problem. It's not about safety it's about compliance. Very clean. Friendly. I would love to visit again. I have zero complaints.
