Silver Spoon - Graskop
Silver Spoon
Description
Nestled in town, this family-run spot combines homely hospitality with reliably tasty food, from wood-fired thin-crust pizzas to a wide pancake selection. Service is warm and prompt, making it a favorite for travelers and families seeking a relaxed breakfast or casual dinner before local sightseeing. Unique decor and convivial owners elevate the experience; dishes are enjoyable though some pancakes could use bolder seasoning. Overall, a welcoming, unpretentious place that feels like a home away from home.

I indulged in too much food and drank a bit too much coffee, but I absolutely adored this charming little spot on my first visit.
The wife was getting 'HANGRY ' at around 8.30 and with not much open in town we ended up at Silver spoon. Wasn 't much happening on a Monday night anywhere to be fair so we were the only ones eating. The owners served us and they were lovely. Had a good chat about the area and our future travel plans and they offered us some local wisdom. Being Australian (and a little unprepared) we didn 't have a universal power adaptor and asked if anywhere in town might sell them. They found one in a drawer that wasn 't being used and gave it to us (legends)! Wife had a Hawaiian Pizza which was wood fired and delicious. I had a chicken salad which was great, would have preferred red onion over white as less overpowering but minor detail. Dry red wine was great too. Great people, quality food and relaxed setting.
I was recommended to Silver Spoon by Jan, who claimed they have the best pizzas in town—and that was absolutely true! They really do have the best pizza. Karen, the owner, was incredibly friendly. Our drinks arrived quickly, and the pizza came out shortly after. Overall, it was an amazing experience with great food!
