I found this place through a complete accident, thanks to facebook to hear my talks about a Sunday gospel brunch. I decided to try this place with my family and was overwhelmingly surprised with the high level of eating, service and atmosphere. I are currently planning to bring a larger group in 2 weeks. Amazing experience! Staff, food and music calmed our soul. We were made to feel welcome and loved when we went through the door. The owners spent time getting to know my family when we were sung by the smooth sounds of jazz. A casual refinement with Manhattan style and chill. We will definitely be regular. Thanks to the experience!
The food was excellent. Restaurant was full, and quite busy, but service was great. Anna, the delightful bartender, took great care of us, as did our server. Our compliments to the chef, and to the place! We’ll be back soon!
Loved the food, atmosphere and service! This is a unique place, one of the most beautiful in DFW.
I took my brother there to celebrate his birthday. it is a every nice well kept environment. The staff was super friendly, prompt and professional. The service was so personal we felt like we were the only people there. The entertainers that night were excellent and interacted with the crowd. I will be back again without a doubt.
Owners and waitress were very nice but this was the most horrible experience for our family. The place was dead. With only three tables of guests, it took forever for our food to come out. In addition to having to wait this whole time, we asked if by chance if we could get some bread while we were waiting, and it appears they don’t even have that to help out. The food quality was below average and half the orders were wrong. They have a wine list but appear to only have a couple on hand. One member in our group ordered a hamburger. After about 30 minutes, they came back to us and told us they did not have the meat to make a hamburger. Uh hello, you have steaks but can’t grind up the meat for a burger??? So instead we told them to make her a filet, which never came out. On top of all of this, it was advertised that there was supposed to be a jazz saxophonist playing and all that was on stage was a pianist and a singer. Although not what we came for or was advertised, it unfortunately was the only good part of the entire time we were there. Definitely would not recommend to family and friends. P.S. Any 5 star reviews must have been commented by either family or friends. We really wanted to love this place but will not be back. Very expensive mistake.
