The Club DFW offers a fantastic space to get away from the chaos of the airport. They have two lounging areas on the mezzanine level, above all the action. The food choice is limited but the drinks are well made. It's a nice place to hang out before your flight or on a layover. Located in Terminal D near gate D27 View all feedback.
What Paul Spinn doesn't like about The Club Dfw:
This place was always average at best. They used to have salad and deli lunch meat roll ups. Both have been cut from the menu. They offer 2 soups: Chicken Enchilada and Veggie. There are no cold offerings that would be enjoyable when it’s 110* outside. Who wants soup when it’s the middle of summer? The selection of candy is now gone as well. Self serve is back but it’s not worth any . Do yourself a favor and go join... View all feedback.
One of Nate 's Chase credit cards gives him airport lounge access, so we decided to check out The Club at DFW. We rarely have layovers long enough to do more than grab a quick bite to eat, but we had a longer stretch this time, so we took advantage of the free food, drinks, and space to work. We didn 't have boarding passes for some reason the American Airlines app didn 't generate them for our second leg, but we were still able to get in. The main area with the food was super cramped and crowded, so we quickly chowed down on some breakfast and moved over to the Relax area. This was also pretty full, but luckily we got two comfy chairs to get some work done. The food was decent, I was also pretty hungry. They had some fluffy cheese omelettes, mini muffins, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and a coffee machine. Breakfast is served til 11 am. They refilled items really fast, which was great. I liked the omelette and yogurt. The full bar is included, so I got a spicy loaded **** mary. They even have some signature cocktails. There 's only one stall restroom for the whole lounge, which was pretty inconvenient as there was a line most of the time. Each section of the club has its own wifi, but the main free airport wifi seemed to be the strongest signal. If you can find a spot to sit, this is a decent lounge that could definitely benefit from more space. It looked like maybe there was an additional space that wasn 't currently open, but I 'm not sure.
Service is great!!! The guys there are always getting plates cups out of way quick. Personable, super polite and professional. But Ughhh this place got bad in last 4 years. From offering 12 yr Fiddic scotch down to Chivas, down to Crown to now Jim Beam. Their jim rye is the only thing you'll be able to kind of put down your throat unless you're opting for beer. Otherwise you're drinking Skyy Vodka and Tanqueray which will be a guaranteed headache when you're up in the air if you have more than a couple. Seems like people were happy at the lounge but they're probably new to the whole lounge experience and have never traveled internationally where you get fed a decent meal. Felt like this place was trying to starve you since everything was only edible if you're starving. Makes sense though, offer what no one wants and you're bound to have less overall expenses. From back in the days offering of sandwiches and wraps. Cookies, jars of jelly beans, gummy bears and other small munchies that were good to munch on while chilling drinking. Everything good has been cut and what's left is peanuts and Wasabi peas (only thing decent to eat with your beer at least), pita hummus, soup, white rice, cheese cubes, a reduced variety of a vegetable plate, and brownies. Many of The Club lounges did drop their selection of alcohol in last few years but I haven't been to one since end of 2021 and wow did DFW's Club lounge go ultra lean for 2022. Really should get Amex or capital one if Chase doesn't start opening their own lounges soon if you travel to DFW frequently. Still better than nothing if you're stuck at the airport with a priority pass. Can't complain about a nicer place to sit and having comp beer that would normally run you $8-$10 anywhere else at the airport restaurant/bar.
I like this liyyle place. It's small and distributed over 3 rooms. The balcony is my fave spot : , although they dont seem to clean it often enough. The food was also good, chicken enchilada and rice. Need better non-alcoholic beverages.
This was my first time going to this lounge. Had a 3 hour layover for out outbound and return flight and this place was at capacity both times. I was able to get in the first time but the second time i was put on a waitlist. The wait wasn't too long but seating is limited so if you get in you'd have to stand. I barely was able to get a seat when I visited the first time. Food and drinks were great but expect a crowd. I'd definitely try to stop by again if I had a layover but I will be mentally preparing for the crowd.
