What Percy Botsford doesn't like about Fireside Pies:
Had the Plank salmon and it was okay, but a little dry. The potatoes were really dry. The Wedge Salad was good, but it really warned for 4 people not only one. The woman had pepperoni pizza and didn't like it at all. View all feedback.
I took the family here while were were staying at Great Wolf Lodge, and the food is Incredible! The Bruschetta was so good, and our pizza was amazing! The crust on their pizza is perfect! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
You know if you have high expectations of amazing food before visiting. Usually it never works, but not only Fireside Pies meets expectations, they knocked it out of the park! Not since our visit to Italy we had such great pizza. The Prosciutto was fresh, salty, savory size with fresh, crisp Arugula. The combo was amazing! At first we thought it was strange that the prosciutto was placed on the pizza after the cake had been cooked, but the texture of the meat was absolutely the right way to go. The crust, the crust! The crust was perfectly cooked on both pizzas. Nothing beats a wood stove. The second pizza was a Hawaiian, but I had the Jalapeños. I could say the Balsamico-Drizzle was aged from the wealth of taste. Fireside Pies is worth finding out if you are?re everywhere in the Metroplex. Don't miss!
Slow service both times I came, but the pizza was superb and well worth the wait. Make sure to order your pie extra crispy as they do lean on the undercooked side. I recommend the margherita pie with pepperoni added. The Hawaiian is good as well if you have a sweet tooth. The garlic bites are also excellent for a side.
I checked the other reviews and they said they had slow service, but in our case the service was fast and our server was amazing. Now to the pizza. It has that Smokey taste that is so good. We did order it extra crispy like the other reviews said and yes it was a great decision. My favorite was the margarita pizza. The pepperoni pizza was great as well. Will be visiting again and recommending to everyone.
