I came here for lunch and unfortunately had one of the worst meals I've ever experienced. I ordered the Ensenada Chicken Platter, and here’s how it was described on the menu.

I visited for lunch and unfortunately had the worst meal I've ever experienced. I ordered the Ensenada Chicken Platter, which was described on the menu as follows:

I ordered a BLTA Croissant, which the menu indicated came with either fries or fresh fruit. I chose the fruit option. The sandwich itself was delicious; however, I was surprised to find an additional charge of $0.99 for the fruit on my bill. When I brought this up with the server, she mentioned it should actually be $0.79. I pointed out that the menu didn’t specify any extra charge for the fruit. Ultimately, she removed the $0.99 charge, but this isn’t the first time I've encountered unexpected fees. The last instance involved an additional charge for changing the cheese on a salad. I believe the menu needs to be clearer, or the servers should inform customers of any extra charges before placing their orders.

This restaurant has always been incredibly loud, thanks to its design that seems to amplify the sounds of happy children. Normally, we prefer not to eat indoors, but the cold, rainy weather on Mother's Day made that impossible. We opted for a booth in the bar area, and while enjoying the truly delicious burgers and a towering stack of onion rings, we found that we could actually hear each other conversing.
