I ordered the Sicilian sandwich, but the meat didn't taste right—it was definitely the worst sandwich I've ever had. The French dip was also on the small side. I wouldn't recommend this place for sandwiches.

There is something special in the way they make their bread and fill it, that makes their sandwiches stand out above the rest. Smart 'Locals ' know,Millies is 'the ' place for a premium sandwich. Many, wise people return, again and again, thinking it is their best kept secrettreasure. And so it is. I have only been returning here, for 47 years.

The food was enjoyable, and our server—a young trainee—was outstanding and friendly. However, the rest of the staff didn't seem very welcoming, which was somewhat disappointing. I have cherished memories of savoring many sandwiches here in the '80s, so I was thrilled to come back to this place.
