China Hut - Grants Pass

Just brought home our to-go order from China Hut. Not sure if they have a new cook or what, but our food was pretty bad. Ordered Chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, and shrimp. Shrimp was ok, but the chow mein had a red tinge to it and tasted over cooked. The rice tasted like it had been micro waved and was very dark in appearance. We've ordered from China Hut before and have been very satisfied, but we're not chancing it again. Feel like I wasted $29.00. :

Been going to china hut since i was a kid and i can say i love the food ive never complained once. Great for family and ive never been afraid to try something ive never tried because everything is amazing. Remember all reviews are based on personl encounters and everyone should try things for themselves and be there own judge its fun.

I don’t usually write reviews, but in this case, I felt it was important to share because the people in the Grants Pass area deserve to know where they can find excellent Chinese food.

This restaurant serves delicious food, but I do have some concerns about the cleanliness and cooking practices. The place doesn't seem like it would pass a health inspection, and I'm honestly better off not knowing what's in the dishes I order. The woman at the front is usually quite rude and seems rushed, but it's quite entertaining to watch her dash around, yelling in an Asian language, and answering the phone with a cheerful "Chihut hamay helpyooooo?" Honestly, I'd say she's worth the visit all by herself!
