Great atmosphere 10 out of 10, large selection on the menu, caters for vegans, gluten-free and special requests “with prior arrangements“. Excellent customer service “really engaged”. A big shout out to Mark and the crew for making it A special night to celebrate my mums 70 birthday and my mum and dads wedding anniversary with 18 of our mob. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about York:
Went for my grandmothers 90th birthday.We had a table of 8. The gentleman was very cold and almost rude with the way he was rushing the table to order. Half the meals were very overcooked, dry and cold. one steak sent back and ordered McDonald's on the way home instead. very disappointing considering that we had heard it was lovely. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was cozy. This place could easily accommodate various events, and I didn't encounter any issues during my visit. Honestly, the overall low rating seems quite unfair.

Had today a wonderful meal in the yorker kitchen (5/10/17) the eating was delicious and very full, I couldn't even have a place for the Lemon Curd pudding that I planned to eat. very nice people who served us, and had the authorities to ask if we enjoy the meal. Top points for the service and also top points for the art as the hotel was set up.
