Granite Falls Brewing Company

My family and I came to dinner tonight. This restaurant is very popular and busy. On Friday night we sat after 30 minutes, which is not bad. For appetizers we ordered the fried mushrooms and tasted like oil. The Ranch Dressing is watery. The water is nasty. For my meal I had ordered the Appalachian Saloon Burger with Pommes. The burger comes with pepperjack cheese, bacon and carmelised onions. It was all very bland, I had to add tons of black pepper. The bacon is fake. Not good. The fries are okay. My momma ordered the BLT sandwich and she said it was really good. My husband ordered the chicken wings and he only ate one. He said the chicken is very dry and Bland and he got it with buffalo and he said there was no taste. My brother ordered the chicken sandwich and he said it was good. The onion rings are fat and heavy to eat. Overall, we were very disappointed at the food.

A group of us went tonight. The hostess, Laney, was super nice and helpful. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was very good. We will definitely be going back.

Last night was the first time I had every been there and I waited for 1 1/2 hours for mozzarella sticks and I never got them. But everyone else got their food but me! The waiter came told me 3 times they was coming than finally came and said they was out of batter and they had to go get some. But he said they was going in the fryer now and I told him no thanks! I would go eat somewhere else. So they didn’t charge me for them and my husband got the wrong burger than he ordered! So needless to say I will not be going back there to eat! Maybe to drink and shoot some pool but not to eat!

The first few times we went, we loved it. But the last several visits have been awful. Tonight, I placed an order at 6:45. I was told 30-45 minutes for pick up. Went to pick up at 7:30 and had to wait an additional 35 minutes for the food. It took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged while watching 3 employees vaping in the kitchen. I get the food home only to realize that they have messed up 4 out of 4 plates. We weren’t told that they were out of buns and the sandwiches would be on toast, no bacon on the bacon beer cheese burger, the buffalo chicken sandwich had no buffalo sauce and the Philly cheesesteak had no peppers and onion. This on top of wrong sides and then having extras that we ordered and were charged for- beer cheese crock- not being included. How you managed to mess up every item in the order is beyond me, but apparently possible. So as much as we love to support local businesses, this will be one we avoid in the future. 1 messed up plate is a mistake, 2 and your having a bad night, but all 4, y’all weren’t even trying.

They had a really good musician, and the waitress was nice enough, not l but the food was HORRIBLE. There was nasty crud on the silverware???, the chicken tenders weren't cooked all the way?, and the the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese tasted disgusting??. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place. Way to expensive. 60 dollars for undercooked chicken, nasty, dirty silverware, and dry disgusting mashed potatoes. THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE SALT OR KETCHUP AT THE TABLES!!!
