Don't stop here for 34 if you need to do laundry. Can't figure out how a truck stop that makes millions of dollars a month at site and a company that makes billions can't seem to get things fixed. How is it 4 washers are out of service in a week and theycan't get them fixed. And why can't they clean up trash along the curb. Pilot is far from being convenient stop for OTR truckdrivers and disgusting no matter what way you look at it. From the bathrooms to the parking lot. To the PJ fresh food alwaysdried out or looking nasty and employees handling food and no sink for them to wash there hands before hand and handling moneyand God knows what else before handling food. Oh and if taking a shower bring your own towels. Nothing better then seeing showertowels and wash cloths sitting on janitors cart and attached to mops.
This used to be one of the best Flying J locations to spend your 34-hour reset, but it seems they're currently understaffed, and the cleanliness has significantly declined. The shower's AC vents, ceiling, walls, and fans were covered in dust bunnies.
I recently spent $700 on diesel fuel and struggled to find a place to park my truck. After a long day, I was looking forward to taking a shower and washing my clothes, only to discover that all the washing machines were out of order. It's disappointing for such a large company to be unable to address this simple issue. To make matters worse, I had to wait at least an hour just to take a shower.
However, the washers have been out of order since my last visit about a month ago, and this time the shower water pressure was quite disappointing. I'm not sure what changes were made, but they really need to revert to the previous setup. When I stay here, I typically have to wait 12 to 24 hours, so having access to good laundry facilities and quality showers is crucial, especially when you're on the road for weeks at a time. The showers used to have high pressure, and I hope they can bring that back.
