a beautiful place in the heart of the great appellation of the northern Rhone Valley. a room and a beautiful garden, a service of the most brilliant and a superb wine list. you can savor a succulent sea spider, a sublime Barbet and octopus mullet,...the lobster in two ways is to be recommended, as well as the pigeon, the cheeses and desert are great. to do, unavoidable! What Chantal Louis doesn't like about Les Cèdres:
We had heard great things about this place. We were there with a tour group with a fixed menu. The service was good. The presentation of food was very nice. We had veal and it was like it was cut from the leather of some...tough old bull. Some people said there was OK so maybe just some bad cuts. Sounded like it was half and half good veal vs tough. The rest of the meal was good. View all feedback.

We came for diner as a group of people including a newborn. The staff was very friendly and attentive, asking if we had anything to warm for the baby without us even asking for it. They even put national flags at the entrance for...the guests that were coming from different countries (SWISS one for us). We ate by the terrace which is surrounded by a beautiful garden with many trees and fountains. The restaurant is very charming with tasteful Asian inspired decoration that. We went for a three course menu (starter, main and dessert) which actually came with pre-starters and pre-desserts. We recommend to take the duck as a starter and the lobster in services as the main. As you could expect for a star restaurant, they have an extensive wine selection and also a wine pairing menu. Price is overall very reasonable for the standards of the restaurant. Perhaps the only setback was the time/duration: for our dinner. So don’t be in a rush when you come visit les cèdres. Overall, a very great discovery that we can only recommend. Congrats to the brothers! We will be back!
The staff is very friendly, although it is not easy to order the wine while having the aperitif in the garden. The food is ok, it just misses a bit of seasoning, a bit of salt would have helped all dishes. The level of creativity...is definitely too low for this level, the dishes presented are known since a long time in many places. The presentation is suitable, but the taste does not fit, rather uninspired. Overall not really a Michelin stars place, disappointing.
We stopped here on the way from Lyon a welcoming and relaxed place with an inviting atmosphere. There were a few options for lunch deals. They tried to insist that we partake champagne wine from the wine trolley, but we ordered our own...wine. The food was reasonable innovative, well presented and tasty. The dessert was an excellent surprise. Highly recommended.
Visited May for lunch and we were very happy. Very nice welcome and surroundings with an asiatic touch tot he gardens. Most pleasant terrace where we had our pre lunch drinks and a most calm and zen dining room; the foos was very...good, the wine also we were leaving back home in the evening and the sommelier gave us the rest of the bottled wine and some aperitif brioche for your return, A really nice and cosy and gourmet experience If you are close to Valence don't hesitate CP CP FAMILY
