I happened to grow up about 5 minutes from here, and in all the time I lived in Granger I can’t remember a great, specialty barbecue place such as Dean’s.I wish them all the best and can’t wait to get an aggressive carry out order on summer Friday afternoons on the way up to the lake!

I have tried several places that have a smoked half chicken including Nelson's which is one of my favorites if not my favorite in the area. This was on par, completely different than Nelson's Chicken but superb, juicy and tender and seasoned to perfection. The pulled pork sandwich was also delicious, tangy and large portion. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Love this place! We ordered the burger, pulled pork, chicken, fries, grits and dessert. Everything was fabulous. The chicken was so moist and the perfect amount of flavor! It wasn't overly smokey. And the sauces were delicious. We are definitely coming back.

We have been there a few times now. The half chicken is great. The kids love the Mac and Cheese and the matchstick French Fries. Their habenaro sauce does have good heat. The brisket is more on the fatty side VS lean side if you like that style. I would recommend this stop to a friend
