Biggby Coffee In Granger

I came across another review claiming that this place is better than Starbucks, and I really wanted to believe it! However, Starbucks is often considered the "dollar store" of coffee (not in terms of prices, of course). Unfortunately, the staff here doesn't seem to know how to make an Americano properly. The correct method is to fill the cup with hot water first, and then brew the espresso shot and pour it into the hot water. If you brew the shot directly into the bottom of the cup and then add hot water, it ruins the crema and ends up tasting like weak drip coffee from Denny's. Given the price, the quality simply doesn't measure up. After spending 20 years in Seattle, where my wife was a professional barista for several years, we have a good understanding of espresso. Sadly, this place just serves what tastes like watered-down coffee.

This place is on the pricey side, but I had a great time during my visit. The staff member who assisted me was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.

This place is even better than Starbucks! I absolutely adore their sweet cream – it’s way better than what you find at Starbucks. My favorite breakfast sandwich is definitely the bagel sandwiches, especially the Asian bagel with ham and cheese. Plus, Biggby coffee won’t leave your teeth stained brown like Starbucks does. I usually go for either black coffee or the sweet cream matcha with chia seeds. You should definitely give it a try!

The baristas in this business are all exceptional! However, the owner is rude and offers little sense for customer satisfaction. Both my drinks should have been caramel pumpkin spice. You should be dilapidated and the other strain type. When my drinks were handed over to me, they were both caffeine and only one had pumpkin flavor. When I said something, the manager got running and very rude with me. I wasn't rude. I was very patient though I was in a hurry (he or the Bristas would have had no hint that I was in a hurry). I was asked not to come to his place. I said polite, no problem. There are many other cafés.

Better than Starbucks I'd choose Biggby coffee any day of the week
