I h... read more I ordered the Bourbon Street Mushroom Swiss Burger, Chicken Fajita Rollup with Brew Pub Pretzels Beer Cheese Dip at Applebee's and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, as it has been our go-to place for the past 9 years. The food is always good, the service is quick, and the prices are fair. They did forget a couple of our sauces, but that was a minor mistake. Overall, I had a great 33rd birthday dinner at home with my husband, kid-free, and it was perfect in my eyes.

The riblets and garlicky mashed potatoes were adequately prepared, but the garlicky green beans we ordered were underwhelming, and the steamed broccoli was mushy. We ended up only eating what was edible and throwing out the rest. Overall, we were not satisfied with our meal and will not be ordering from this restaurant again through DoorDash.

I ordered a full rack of pork ribs that were so overcooked, I struggled to separate the bones with a sharp knife and lots of effort. The meat was extremely dry and practically inedible. Even though I requested extra BBQ sauce, it was not included with my order. Additionally, I asked for two sets of disposable utensils, but they were not provided. My wife ordered garlicky green beans, but we were served mushy, overcooked broccoli instead. The appetizer of pretzels and cheese sauce arrived without any salt on the pretzels or loose in the delivery box. I paid extra for a side of bacon broccoli cheese, but it was bland and overcooked with dry bacon bits. The only decent dishes we received were the onion rings, riblets, and garlic mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal will likely be thrown away. When DoorDash requested my rating for Applebee's, one star was the lowest grade I could give.

However, on this occasion they were understaffed, which is understandable, but it resulted in subpar service. The steak was overcooked, and our order was incorrect three times. Additionally, when we placed an order to go, it took nearly 45 minutes to receive it.

However, after checking out, we were informed that our order would take an hour and a half. We attempted to cancel our order due to the long wait time, but encountered difficulties reaching a manager. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes without success, we decided to wait an additional 45 minutes to pick up our order. This frustrating experience has led us to decide that this will be our last meal from this restaurant.
