Coq d'or - Grande-Riviere

After reading reviews, we decided to grab a quick meal on our way to Percé. Unfortunately, it took an hour and a half to receive our food. The quality of the food was disappointing. My burger sat under a heat lamp for 15 minutes while the rest of our order was being prepared. The poutine was just fries with gravy and curds, not a true poutine. The "Le Big Don" was their take on a Big Mac. My girlfriend's chicken was the highlight, but the rest of the meal was below average. We noticed many locals also complaining about the service.

We enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. All the food was hot, the portions were generous, the orders were accurate, and the service was excellent.

This restaurant is lovely. We visited for breakfast and couldn't believe the bargain of a side of 3 links of sausage for only 1.95. The prices are very reasonable and the place is clean. We enjoyed our experience.

Very nice and friendly restaurant. I went there in my last trip and came back a couple of time with my family on this trip. The staff is friendly, the food is very good and the prices are good!

We had a very good traditional breakfast in a comfortable setting. Everything was hot, there were good sized servings, the orders were correct and the service was good.
