Subway - Grand Sudbury

Busy place.....nice picnic table for a nice summer time lunch with my gf...very clean restaurant and fresh ingredients

Although it is a run-of-the-mill Subway, the owner/servers always greet us like old friends (and we're not there that often) so I would guess that's the way they treat everyone. This keeps us coming back to the Kathleen St location. We tend not to experiment much but there is such a terrific choice of sandwiches and soup too. Try the egg or tuna salad on flat bread! And the dumpling soup. Then we add cookies and a drink. Always satisfied.

What happened? Always went to this location for fresh bread, fresh veggies._Went this week.

I went to this restaurant for a quick meal. While preparing my food, one of the employees accidentally cut themselves. Instead of stopping to clean up and tend to the injured person, another employee continued making my sandwich. I had to intervene and ask them to clean the counter and make me a fresh sandwich. To my horror, they used the same knife that the injured employee had used to cut my sandwich. I immediately asked them to stop and left the restaurant, feeling disgusted.

The staff was friendly, and the submarine sandwich was excellent, as was the salad. It was nice to be able to get exactly what you wanted and to know that it was freshly made.
