Got some food from here for dinner. A fried egg sandwich, fries and coleslaw. Quite a reasonable price, the service was speedy and friendly. The food itself was pretty good, the fries could use a little bit of seasoning but other than that pretty good. View all feedback.
What Red D doesn't like about Gus's Restaurant:
Friendly servers but the food took forever to arrive. I was ordering take out: poutine and a burger and a pop. Came to $30 with a small tip. Dried out poutine with hardly any gravy and small amount of shredded cheese. Dried out burger as well Deluxe . Feel like a got ripped off. I shouldn 't be too surprise though Sudbury is chock full of overpriced low quality food offerings. View all feedback.
Breakfast in Sudbury? Gus's is the place! Fast and attentive wait staffCoffee keeps comingGreat ambienceOpened in the 1950's and hasn't changed.
Wonderful experience! Everyone was friendly and found a busy 8 year old very entertaining! The food was wonderful too!
From the Formica tables to the friendly staff, homemade Greek food in a diner. The spinakopita, the Greek salad (huge) and the homemade baklava. at a really good price. I will go back.
The Greek salad, the spinakopita, the baclava were all good, home made. The soup was a little bland. The service was so friendly. I will go back.
Five of us went to Gus's for lunch. Was about $90.00 with tax and tip, 3 deserts. I had the spanakopdia which was the best I've ever had. I would have liked a little more dressing on my greek salad and smaller pieces of lettuce but generally it was very good. Two of our party had fish and chips and two had gyros. The fries could have been better but the gyros and fish were great. The baklava for desert was fabulous. The atmosphere is very casual and pleasant. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. Will go there again when in Sudbury.
