The food at this restaurant is amazing! It is definitely worth the price, which is very reasonable for such authentic cuisine. The owners are wonderful as well. The only downside is that there could be more seating options, but waiting for your food is well worth it. Thank you for bringing some cultural cuisine to the Northern area! View all feedback.

So looking forward to good Jamaican food in Sudbury but the food was awful. My Jamaican hubby threw out his stewed chicken, it was so bad. The fritters were greasy and even the rice and peas was bad. View all feedback.
The food is on point, absolutley delicious and full of flavour. 2 words...JERK ROTI! This place is a must visit if in the area. They have your standard currys, oxtail, rice n peas
I love chicken. any which way someone wants to cook it - I'll take it, then came along a new taste, authentically cooked by a fun and friendly crew and family team. So I came across them at the Sudbury Farmer's Market, there wasn't a lot of other cooked food available so that it was fresh, different and chicken meant it had to be tried - loved every bite. Found them again at the Canada Day celebration in Bell Park, this time there was a lot of food vendors to choose from but only one choice really so sampling no. 2 happened and it was even better second time around, added a couple of beef pattys, just because they were there and looked great, we weren't disappointed! If you live in Sudbury or are passing through - do yourself a big favour and treat yourself to a fantastic, fresh cook, awesome jerk chicken dinner.

read moreI've actually eaten here three times, in the last week. Four times, if you count the left-overs I had on Friday. Twice were with work colleagues who wanted to try the place, and once with family.I have a hard time picking items off the menu since so most of what they have to offer are all so appealing to me. So far I've had each of the curried goat, jerk chicken, and oxtail meals. All were very good. I've also tried a little of the fried chicken that my daughter had ordered on one of our visits. Good, but I definitely prefer the other items. As good as the mains were, the sides were also something to look forward to. Choose between vinegary coleslaw or macaroni salad. Both are good. I actually prefer creamy coleslaw, but FFJH slaw is quite good. A big portion of rice and beans are also included in the meals. You can choose to have either curry sauce or oxtail stew sauce over the rice. I've been picking the oxtail sauce, and consequently can't get enough of it. None of the meals I've had were too spicy; however, there is a scotch bonnet sauce available for an extra $1 that some nice heat but is not overpowering (at least to me.) Keep in mind, this place is take-out only. There is a bench outside next to a busy road, no table, so take your order home, or to a park if the weather is nice. Another thing to keep in mind is that the portions are generous. I'm a big boy, but find myself getting pretty filled up with the small meals.
