Overall the food was amazing! The atmosphere was great too. Our server, Archie, did a very nice job. The one drawback (I attribute this to being super busy) our main course was delivered an hour after our appetizers. It’ll make for a great next day lunch. We would recommend and go back! My burger was nearly raw in the center, and the service was quite slow, which was frustrating since we had concert tickets for later. The fries tasted overcooked and were so salty that they were almost inedible. This is usually one of my go-to places, so I was really disappointed overall. View all feedback.
We were for brunch. we had family from the state. it was chaotic as soon as we got in. it took 15 minutes to get our reservation and another 10 minutes to get us water and coffee. they needed 50 minutes to get our food out. our waitress was the whole 50 minutes mia. two of the 5 breakfast orders were wrong. 25 minutes to get the right food. rarely saw our waitress throughout the 2 hours service. very unorganized staff. No one seemed responsible for it. don't go back.
We went on Valentine’s Day and had an 8 PM reservation. Arrived 15 minutes ahead of time and at 8:20 still had not been acknowledged that we were even there. There was a line of annoyed people who also had reservations but instead of letting people check in, it was a very slow moving line, one at a time. There was only one hostess checking everyone in and nothing against her but she seemed sort of unsure and unclear of her direction. Besides being the only hostess, she was the only one busing/cleaning tables in between trying to seat tables. She clearly needed others to help her, and nobody seemed to be available. I cannot really rate the food because we were too annoyed with the experience before we even could get sat, and decided to leave! In addition, while waiting to be acknowledged for our reservation, my boyfriend tried to order a drink and was asked three different times ‘can we help you’ but then nobody ever took his order!

1. Out of Brussell Sprouts by 7:20 on Valentines night 2. Burger was good. 3. Drinks were small and very expensive 4. Service was so-so 5. Watched bartender spray two patrons down the bar from us with something from behind the bar and not apologize nor acknowledge what he did. Completely ignored it. 6. Food took forever for us to get. There are a lot better options in Grand Rapids.
Perfect restaurant for a dressy casual date!! Awesome location in the downtown market.
