My girlfriend and I drove all the way from Dearborn and Southfield. It was completely worth the drive. Marques was fantastic. I had the smash burger and I’d have to say it’s up in the top 3 with no hesitation. The place is overall top tier. View all feedback.
What Andreas Zeller doesn't like about One Twenty Three:
The location, vibe, and service were great but the food didn’t live up to it everything was ok but not special. The burger was plain, the fries mediocre, and the Brussels sprouts too oily and unseasoned (to their credit they apologized and comped it, without us complaining) View all feedback.
Really enjoyed this restaurant. I got the walleye sandwich, which was moist and flaky and delicious. Great happy hour deal with lots of drink options. The noise level was also perfect. I?m so used to shouting in restaurants and finally did not have to.Only suggestion is to offer greens with a sandwich rather than just kettle chips (or potatoes for an extra charge). I?d return!
Amazing experience at 123 last night. I could eat here every night. What we ordered: 1 x Chicken Wings 1 x Cauliflower bites 1 x Chicken Rice Bowl 1 x Teriyaki Steak Egg Rolls 1 x Hummus and Veggies The food overall was a 8.4/10. Everything was veryflavourful. The cauliflower bites and the egg rolls were the stand out appetizers for me. The chicken and rice bowl wasincredible. Everything was seasoned well and the flavours were exceptional. A lot of restaurants are closed on Sunday butreally you have to look no further than 123 so get out and support them!!????
My mom die and I ate here for the first time last weekend. We just moved back to Grand Rapids and are trying to get caught up on all the restaurants we have missed out on. We bother started off with drinks and appetizers (blackberry bourbon sour and applesangria paired with fried Brussels sprouts and teriyaki steak egg rolls). The drinks were very good and well crafted. The eggrolls were unique, but good. Personally, I could have done without the salty teriyaki sauce. The Brussel Sprouts, we not good atall. We usually get brussel sprouts when they are a restaurant menu, but these left a burnt taste in my mouth the rest of thenight. For dinner I ordered the chicken and rice bowl and my wife ordered the Mac-N-Cheese with grilled chicken. Both were verytasty. The chicken and rice bowl was not what I had expected, but I was pleased with the taste. Highly recommend! We also triedthe apple crisp for desert with the cinnamon ice cream! The ice cream was delicious and so was the crisp. If you like any kindof crisp I would recommend giving it a try. Overall, great experience. Service was great and so was the food and beverages.Stay away from the brussel sprouts.
We had dinner tonight at the One.Twenty.Three restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids. This is a modern hip gathering place, that is not too pretentious. The environment is very welcoming and the tables are set up such that even though there are many peoplearound you you still feel that you have enough privacy for an intimate dinner with others. The menu has a good variety ofoptions for various tastes. The dishes were all very delicious and well portioned.
Great good and wonderful atmosphere! Grand Rapids is an amazing place to find some super unique restaurants, and One Twenty Three is definitely one of them. The drinks and the food were phenomenal here. Highly recommend as a great dinner spot!
